This is Kayla Pereira’s first year at Christ the King Catholic School. She received her Bachelors in Music Education with a secondary specialization in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a 3rd grade aide as well as the band teacher here at CK. Last year Kayla made the move from Florida to Oklahoma a year ago post college to be closer to family and she is loving it here. She enjoys seeing students light up when they play their instruments in band and seeing them work together to create music. She loves the community here at CK and being at a place that blends the Catholic faith and education to show students how to live their faith in everyday life.
